Hello!
My name is Xiuqi. I'm an animator and designer based in New York. I graduated from School of Visual Arts in 2019 with a Master's degree in Computer Arts and have been working professionally for three years. In my free time, you can usually find me playing strategy RPGs on my Switch, or binge-watching Korean shows and trying to replicate the dishes I see on the show!
My background is in animation. After trying animation for the first time in college, I immediately fell in love with it. It is always a magical moment for me to see the characters and designs I create come to life.
As I started to work professionally I also developed an interest in design. I like design because it gives me the opportunity to create something visually appealing and solve problems at the same time - work that engages both sides of my brain.
